Perfusion Medical staff wants to know your thoughts about “the optimal packaging for backpacks” at SOMA, the annual conference of the Special Operations Medical Association. Visit Perfusion at booth #717 in the Raleigh Convention Center from May 14 – 16.

Perfusion is testing a new “first fluid” for hemorrhagic shock that, in concept, could extend the “golden hour” into the “golden day”.

Your input will help Perfusion choose the optimal packaging for this new first fluid.

The company plans to test in clinical trials:

1. A 500 ml IV bag packaging for hospitals, clinics, ships, aircraft, and vehicles

2. A smaller, lightweight packaging to be carried in backpacks

Our goal at SOMA is to gather input to guide our selection of that second packaging from PJs, medics, and others who carry first fluids in backpacks.
